Artist Statement

I like to use color, and bright imagery to convey difficult and complex emotions about femininity. I find that using bright color and soft imagery is an antithesis to the way we were raised to see serious, fine art. I also believe that color and fun color exploration have been limited in the scope of the fine art world because of sexist, and limiting beliefs, and I seek to change that.
