Artist Statement

For the past 5 years, I captured my commute on Marta every day; it was new characters and faces on my journey on the Redline. With the pandemic, I have been working from home and have missed the daily trips by train from College Park to Dunwoody. I would always have my camera ready and my head on a swivel. What most comes to mind is this quote: "Stare, pry, listen, eavesdrop. Die knowing something. You are not here long." - Walker Evans.
